RFQ: Rights-based approach training for the PacWastePlus Programme

The Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme (SPREP) is working with the European Union’s Delegation to the Pacific, and 14 Pacific Island Countries and Timor-Leste to undertake the PacWastePlus Project, which seeks to improve and enhance waste management activities and the capacity of governments, industry and communities to manage waste to reduce the impact on human health and the environment.

This engagement requires a suitably qualified and experienced consultant to develop and deliver a 1-day training workshop, to support participants from 15 countries to design and integrate a human rights-based approach to project planning (specifically for waste management projects to be implemented in each country). The activities, including the final workshop report, are to be completed by 21 February 2020.

Quotations must be submitted via email, and clearly identify in the subject and email text that it is a submission for “PWP-031-CON”.

Submissions to be sent to selas@sprep.org no later than 5pm (local Samoa time) on 11 December 2019.
