‘Pacific Leadership For Human Rights’ is a thirty-minute documentary that highlights stories about people and organisations taking leadership roles in sensitive human rights issues in the Pacific, with a particular focus on Vanuatu and Tonga.
Launched this month, the documentary seeks to empower emerging leaders in the region to take the bold step and be agents of change in addressing human rights in their countries.
The documentary will be broadcast around the region through SPC’s flagship television program The Pacific Way commencing this month.
The documentary is produced by the Secretariat of the Pacific Community’s Regional Rights Resource Team in partnership with the Pacific Leadership Programme (PLP) and is funded by the Australian Government.
