This report of the Solomon Islands Family Health and Safety Study analyses data from the first nationally representative research on violence against women and children in this country. The study, which replicates the WHO Multi-country Study on Women’s Health and Domestic Violence against Women, was designed to estimate the prevalence of physical, sexual and emotional violence against women, with particular emphasis on violence by intimate partners.
