PWL at SPC grants aim to support partners to implement Pacific regional gender equality commitments and contribute to Pacific Women Lead outcomes. The multi-stage grant application process is due for completion in the second half of 2023, when grantees will be announced. The grants were available for:

• Grants for civil society and other organisations (CLOSED): Multi-year grants (up to 2.5 years) of between AUD100,000 – AUD 500,000 in financial support to civil society organisations including women’s groups; social enterprises; academic or research institutions; Statutory and State institutions; and national and regional coalitions for their gender equality initiatives (Stream
B).

• Grants for Pacific Island governments: PWL at SPC is offering direct funding and technical support to Pacific Island Government members (Stream A). This support will be determined in collaboration with member Governments. For further information email: pwl@spc.int

Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) bilateral and regional gender projects (including projects with Pacific civil-society, INGOs and UN agencies).

Women’s Fund are philanthropic organisations governed by women, whose primary purpose is to provide financial support to women-led organisations that advance the leadership and empowerment of women and girls. Women’s funds mobilize resources to distribute to women’s organisations and movements, rather than providing direct services or programs.

Women’s Funds Fiji provide grants to women’s groups, networks, and organisations to support them in transforming individual attitudes and behaviours to contribute positively to improving the lives of women. Our Grantee Partners are governed and led by diverse women and gender non-conforming people in Fiji.

Urgent Action Fund UAF A&P offers funding to women and non-binary[1] activists, their families and their organisations in times of crisis. We offer two kinds of grants. A security and well-being grant is for those who need urgent funding to ensure safety from physical or emotional harm. A resourcing resilience grant is for those who seek to prepare for threats, and those who need to respond to a critical issue or opportunity in the next 3-6 months.
