Clemency is a senior career officer with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, currently serving as Assistant Secretary of the Pacific Development Branch. Prior to her current role, Clemency served as Australia’s Deputy High Commissioner to Vanuatu. Prior to this she held a range of positions in DFAT including coordinating Australia’s humanitarian response efforts in the Pacific, managing Australia’s education investments in Laos, and implementing community based development programs in Timor-Leste. Clemency holds a Bachelor of Arts (Development Studies). She lives in Canberra with her husband and daughter.
